1983 - 1985 Traineeship: Messrs. Maxwell Waddell, Solicitors, Glasgow. General Chamber Work including conveyance, wills, trusts and executries and personal client work.
1985 - 1986 Assistant Solicitor with Biggart Baillie & Gifford, Solicitors, Glasgow. Duties included general Chamber work with the emphasis on conveyancing and personal client work.
1986 - 1988 Assistant Solicitor with Messrs. Headrick Inglis Glen & Company, Solicitors, Glasgow. Duties included personal client work with emphasis on conveyancing, wills, trusts and executries.
1988 - Present Partner of the Firm of Messrs. Adie Hunter, Solicitors specialising in property and conveyancing work including relocation work, loan and security work, commercial leasing and development work together with general small business and private client work.
1989 - Present Part time Private Client Tutor in the Diploma in Legal Practice at the Glasgow Graduate Law School.
